IF YOU’RE PLANNING A WEDDING AT BOURTON HALL IN WARWICKSHIRE, YOU’LL LOVE THIS!
Rosie and Mark got married at Bourton Hall, which is a beautiful Renaissance-style mansion in Warwickshire with elaborate decor. This was my last wedding of 2021 & even though it was a later wedding on a cool winter’s day, it was warm, cosy & Christmassy inside!
THE CEREMONY
The ceremony was held in Bourton’s own Chapel, an idyllic former- Catholic chapel. During the ceremony Daisy, their gorgeous little dog, walked down the aisle ahead of the bridesmaids. It was so super cute and brought smiles to everyone’s faces. Rosie had been sure to make Daisy extra sparkly with a new flower-adorned collar & sparkly lead.
They decorated the area really tastefully with classic flowers & candles to enhance the Christmas vibe, which I so loved. The reception was in a beautiful room at Bourton Hall – I love this venue because although the Hall has an air of grandeur & stately elegance, with its grand wooden staircase, high ceilings & extensive ground it’s also so cosy and relaxed. Weddings at Bourton Hall are amazing because as well as extremely yummy food, Molly & her team are fantastic & photographic opportunities both indoors & out are fabulous!
WHY BOURTON HALL IS A GREAT PLACE TO GET MARRIED
Bourton Hall is a really peaceful and secluded venue, but also easy to get to. From a photography perspective it’s pretty much perfect – why? Because not only does it have wonderful grounds for when the weather is lovely & accommodating but inside is picturesque too. Rosie & Mark’s wedding is a classic example. A 4pm Winter wedding where it was dark before any outside photos could take place – no problem! Everything was done inside, set against the grand staircase or cosy fireplace & period features! In my opinion, it’s definitely one of the best places to get married in Warwickshire and has fast become one of my favourite Warwickshire venues to work at. The venue offers seriously good food, an incredible bridal suite, great staff – and an abundance of photo opportunities!
THE COUPLE
Rosie wore a classic white dress and Mark wore a dapper tuxedo and they looked really perfect. It was very much a lovely family affair with Rosie’s Son giving her away, Marks Son as best man & Mark & Rosies daughter’s as Bridesmaids – & not forgetting Daisy as ring bearer! It was also lovely to catch up with Emma from @emmawardbeauty.
The couple got in touch with me late last year. From the off, I really felt like I got on with them so I was really excited when they chose me as their photographer. They said they wanted a relaxed photographer and was even more pleased I loved dogs… particularly as their furbaby would be walking down the aisle .
