FUN FAMILY WEDDING AT ARDENCOTE MANOR IN WARWICK – KERRY AND DARREN

Kerry and Darren had their wedding at Ardencote Manor, one of my all-time favourite venues Warwick. It was a stunning family wedding, with flowers sweet cart and a Polaroid guest book to keep guests entertained.

The ceremony

The ceremony took place under the gazebo by the lake and was just perfect considering the weather was supposed to be the worst imaginable! which was nothing short of a miracle. The ceremony included their Son walking Kerry down the lakeside path to the gazebo & personal vows to each other. It was a beautiful occasion, full of happiness.

After the ceremony, we wandered around the venue for couples portraits, which I love doing, and I got some really special photos not only of all the guests but also of Kerry & Darren with their amazing son & daughter. The weather at this family wedding was near perfect considering It was supposed to have been heavy rain with thunder all day however, the weather report couldn’t have been more wrong!

The reception was also held at the same venue. Wedding’s at Ardencote are perfect because the staff are brilliant & there are so many wonderful places for photos. We were at the lakeside so made the most of the lake & surrounding island -minding all the ducks (& duck poo!!). Ardencote will always be one of my favourite venues as it’s got such a lovely vibe, especially outdoors when the golden sun is glowing.

For the reception, the couple had organised a Polaroid guest book for their guests, and everyone had a blast. Guests were then called for the wedding breakfast, which was chicken wrapped in bacon – it was delicious. & the sticky toffee pudding was to die for

The evening

After the speeches, guests tucked into the sweet table and had a go in the photo booth, and the party got started.

The evening ended with Kerry’s mom bringing out the infamous inflatable Mr Partridge. ho-hum, which was hilarious, and everyone had a great time. The wonderful family wedding was everything I love about weddings, from the start of the day & meeting all of Kerry & Darren’s family & closest friends to the last dance.

Top tip for planning a wedding

Make sure you make time for your once in a lifetime special day – Kerry & Darren were amazing. They were open to suggestions & understood the value that these images will have for them. Enjoy yourself! If you feel tense in front of the camera, it will show in your wedding photos. Most people don’t like having their pictures take! me included. I will do whatever I can to help you relax & enjoy yourselves, whether its getting you to whisper sweet nothings or even pinch each others bums!. If you are relaxed and enjoy the experience, your photos will shine & you will look amazing. As wedding photographers, we need our clients to open up in front of the lens and let us capture their genuine emotions. So my dear couples, be yourselves and live happily ever after!
